9.4 hours into this game and it's been a crazy journey so far
long story short about something i like about this game is how there's a lot of weird things that happen that make me think "is this supposed to happen? or is this a bug?" and later to find out they're all features and have implications for the story it's crazy

Yeah, it is one of the best designed games I have ever seen. The gameplay loop is amazing, the attention to detail is just STAGGERING in places. Like how even the interactive map is literally real time and reacts to the game.

Like, not a spoiler, since it is just one of the planets in the game: you can see the twin planets exchanging sand, and what you see on the map matches perfectly what you see irl.

the only story thing i dont quite get is how the universe is scaled every planet is tiny the sun is tiny it doesn't make sense how any life could exsist and the amount of hearthians that we see in the game don't make too much sense with the planets capacity of only a handful of people that can live on it how did they progress to the point of space travel i doubt the planet ever had that much resources to sustain them enough to get to that point

It would be tremendously ambitious (even for a AAA game) to make a larger scale solar system with the time loop so tight, and all its mechanisms in motion in real time.

The scale is just another element of the "cartoonish" tone they want to represent, like spaceships made of wood, trees on planets without an atomosphere or a translator that works with reels of magnetic tape. Is just a beautiful and naive space tale.

you're right i was just in the shower and thought to myself "if they made the scale of the game to a proper universal size then how in the hell would you get anything done in 22 minutes per loop"

I was hooked the first few days I played then kinda faded. I left off exploring Dark Bramble. Going to have to dive back in again at some point before too long and I forget everything 😂

you will need to get over your fears if you wish to make a lot of headway in the game

Can't really say, there are a few bugs, (not many I've seen). Just stay curious. :)

I have so many questions. I have a feeling I may know the ending/twist just on a small hunch. But man….

Little things, like everytime you wake up, the blue comment thing that either crashes into or explodes out of that space station….it goes somewhere different every time.

It doesn't really add anything story wise, but if your fast you can totally chase down and examine that up close. I was bummed there was no lore aside from "nice, I saw it up close" First time it took 22 time loops before I was able to land on the station you speak of, mastering the spacecraft's flight mechanics is key. Wonder which we will see first, Mass embracification of hydrogen fuel cell cars, fk up free seasons 2 & 3 of Three Body problem on netflix sometime before the yer 32,025 or we get a space game with controls, lore, and level of detail like Outer Wilds here.

assuming you're following the clues left behind by the logs of the nomai you will know where to go to get your answers, there are places in the game that will tell you exactly what you're wondering

Yeah, so far I’ve explored mostly everything (to an extent). No more “there’s more to explore here” on the computer. But I know it’s all left up to me now to venture into uncharted territories. I need to go back to Dark Bramble and the big green planet and re-explore. And a few other planets I haven’t visited. Oh and I need to get to the bottom of the Ember Twins.

in that case you're missing a lot of information
