Lucas Stuck in Wall - Chapter 7

I just started up the game this morning and loaded into the beginning of Chapter 7 to discover Lucas is stuck in the bridge wall or perhaps in the room on the left that I can't seem to get into. When I first load in he say he can't follow me from the position he is in, but I can't figure out how to "rescue" him.

I have tried going forward with Melie to the spot by the Inquisition cart with the rats, but this is the point where Lucas is supposed to give me Luminosa to get past the rats. There have been a few times that Lucas's arm has stuck through the wall and I have been able to get the Luminosa, but running back to the area by the rats the game brings up a red cross sign and I am unable to use it.

I have tried restarting the checkpoint multiple times and restarting the game and he is still stuck every time. Does anyone have any ideas about how I can get past this? I have really been enjoying the game so far and would like to continue to play it.

Unfortunately, I had to restart the chapter to resolve this issue.

Same thing. I restarted the chapter to fix it. No other way. You can do it relatively quickly though.

A year too late but this maybe of use to someone else.

If you go to the Inquisition cart, then back to where Lucas is stuck near the bridge, then his hand might stick out of the wall and you can retrieve the item you need. Once you have that you can progress to the next checkpoint where you can restart from and he will be teleported to you.

If on PC, you have to press Ctrl to throw the Luminosa on the rats ... took me a looong time to figure out.
