Just finished it today and IT IS SO WORTH. 100% recommended. I just played Requiem first and wanted to play this one, I was crying with the history.

Play it and dont care about it was released a few years ago, also it is 8 bucks on pages like Instant Gaming or so. Dont pay 40-60 on steam, be smart.

Absolutely. There are some mild annoying parts, But the overall experience is worth the haul . The game is a thing of beauty , The music and acting are fantastic. in most scenes theres thousands of rats on screen at once and how they scurry away and react to light is impressive . Even at 1080p , max settings will look stunning (some people are going mad on 4K, HDR and RTX ) On my Notebook (Predator Helios 300 I have it set to High and it looks great. I can have it on Ultra but its gonna make the machine super hot . May try on my desktop at some point , Low storage at the moment ) Wait for a sale , everyone is short on money nowaadays and its oldish .

Story is nice and compelling. They worked on how the story relates how the characters feels.

Characters are interesting and not a placeholder, each have some strength and weaknesses.

Music is nice and they did a hard work on having music queues for quite a lot of things.

Game runs smooth and is actually well optimized which is a rare sight, even though i think it's comes from the fact that's one of the first title of the company.

Gameplay is nice, and you feel the threat imposed to you for quite a long part of the game, but the end not so much i felt like.

I have some complaints about some details for the story and the choices of the narrator, but overall no complaints. If you played the game, it feels a lot like a Story driven The evil within with less combat. Combat not being the focus of the game.

I liked the story. I stopped playing it because I encountred a game breaking glitch that required a chapter restart. I think capping frame rate fixed becasue I never encountered the glitch again. Also it was too puzzle heavy but if you play further after awhile you gain more abilities and towards the end you're doing combat with a mix of puzzle. To me it was very worthwhile to play through to the end. It performs very well and still looks fantastic. I was snapping screenshots all the time.

I finished it a few days ago. It is a great story driven game as in the game play and challenge is very manageable. The puzzles and tasks are not too hard and game is very chill to play. Its more like playing through a movie than playing a button mashing annoying boss fighting action game.

I normally don’t play story driven games beacuse I hate the annoying bosses, etc. this game was great. I will definitely be buying the second game when it gets on sale!

I actually prefer this one to the sequel. Despite PT:R being mechanically superior, I think the first game really nails the atmosphere so much better and to me at least has better story progression throughout.

The game will be available for free today on Epic. Children of God who love Jesus with all their heart should give it a wide berth. Sometimes free is still too expensive! The game pretends to be Christian at first, but seduces you into apostasy, into alchemy. Be warned!
