Hoping someone will be able to discover a workaround for SLI using Nvidia Inspector
You can run the game in 4k on max (other than Antialiasing) and keep pretty close to 60 FPS with a single 2080 Ti and a 9900k. I haven't OC'd the 2080 Ti yet in this game, so a consistent 60 FPS may be possible (or close anyway). It was hanging in the low to mid 50's for me mostly.
You're welcome to see here:

Thanks, but unfortunately, I have an older GPU, which is Geforce GTX 1080 SLI. Since it cant run SLI, on a single GTX 1080, i'm getting between 20 to 30 fps, with AA switched to 'low' (somehow I cant turn AA off). that's rather unplayable, but the game looks very good at 4k max
Ah yeah I meant AA on low, not off. I don't think you can turn it off, at least not from the in-game menu. I would think 1440p would play reasonably well for you though.. Or, you could turn the resolution scaling down in the game to like 70% and see how that does? Probably still looks good. I'm terrible at the game, but it certainly is pretty to look at.
What fps do you get in 1440P?
Here is the sli bits of A Plague Tale Innocence.
Sli compatibility bits (DX10 + DX11) 0x080116F5
0x00000002 SLI_PREDEFINED_GPU_COUNT_DX10_TWO
0x00000002 SLI_PREDEFINED_MODE_DX10_FORCE_AFR
thanks. how well does it work? any benchmark? what GPU usage are you getting for both GPU? what's the FPS increase?
I'm using 2 MSI gtx 1070 gaming X and i7 @5ghz.
GPU usage is 100% on second and around 90% on first.
I'm getting around 80-100 fps in 4k. But there is some flickering.
Thanks. Yeah, flickering often happens when we mess around with Nvidia Inspector. How bad is it?
I play it on 2080ti with aa low(u dont need its much in 4k) and some shadow to medium, high.
Card load around 70%.
Not to mension sli or nvlink. Tech is dead and no one support its.
U should sell your 1080ti sli and get 2080ti instead.
I returned it. Not because of the perf issues, but it was buggy. I had to restart from the checkpoint 2 times in the intro area because i'd get randomly stuck.
It is "ok" looking.
Just change the bits to these to remove flickering
SLI compatibility bits 0x080020F1
SLI compatibility bits (DX10 + DX11) 0x080020F1
These remove the flickering and enable SLI pretty well
0x080020F1 is absolute rubbish. less fps with than single card
