Gameplay to story ratio
What is it like? Every ttime I try to watch gameplay on twitch people are in a cutscene or story conversation that runs for a long time. As someone who loses focus quickly when not actively playing am I at risk of getting bored waiting for stuff to happen?

Wondering if its up my alley to justify the full price or if I should wait for a sale in case I cant get into it.

That sounds like the description of ADD, in which case you probably shouldn't play this game.

Thanks I'll wait for the price to go down before giving this a go then, yes I have ADD and games in which the flow is frequently interrupted take me a long time to get into and multiple tries since I tend to put them on the side for a while every time I get bored. Thanks for the answer

It's hard to answer since I don't have hard data on that but my memory of the game is full of long stretches of uninterrupted gameplay. There might be short cutscenes here and there, but longer cutscenes usually go between chapters, which can also be convenient stopping points. Maybe the beginning might spend more time on cutscenes as it's setting the stage but I never got the feeling that the game was heavy on that front.

There are not alot of "Long" cutscenes really. Imoh the longest stretch in a game where you do "Nothing" for 1h must be Life is strange and ist Prequel before the storm. Highly recomended by the way.

I might have gotten the impression there was a lot from trying to see gameplay and only ending up finding people in cutscenes and dialog.

I tend to fall asleep playing things like beyond two souls, telltale, etc. I dont get immersed very well in that type if game.

if you want a Ration..from top of my head id say 80:20 Gameplay/Story whilst some Story elemts are interwoven. The game is not hard by any stretch. In fact i find it to be too easy at times since there is ALOT of handholding. A "hardcore" mode whould have been nice.
