Chapter VI: Damaged Goods stuck (fix)

I'm stuck in a tent after merie lockpicks a box and she waits outside for me to come.

Presumably because i couldn't pick up the 2 crafting components in the box since i'm already maxed out, any help? Restarting from checkpoint doesnt do anything.
If i walk up behind her she'll just block my path and invisible walls prevent me from going out that way or the way i came in.

Since i had my inventory and items seized i can't craft anything so i can pick up the things..

Common fixes

Edited because this is still an issue somehow.
- turning on Vsync fixes it for most.
(Or off if it was already on)
- for some rebooting the game fixes it
- for others walking backwards and playing with the camera works.
- some people kept walking into the invisible wall while spamming the pause menu (open and close) to go through
- one person two people mentioned changing to borderless fullscreen to fix it

Nvm found the fix, you have to close the game back into main menu and then reload your save, it should start you right in the tent you were stuck in, but with the chest looted and Merie ready to move for once.

I had some problems there too. Just started running behind her and then she moved

strafe left when you behiond her so you strafe in the bushes and she start move

The fix for me was to back up out of the tent. Going forward or sideways gets you stuck waiting for Melie to move but flipping the camera around and walking backwards lets you continue.

Have you tried turning on vsync? This solved an issue later in the game for me, might help now.

I will try, I managed to randomly walk through after like 4 resets

I'm honestly surprised this is still an unfixed issue. I posted another bug report around the similar time in a later chapter and a developer responded to it with the answer.
(the answer on that one was turning on vsync which is why i suggested it now).

Turn on V Sync and it should work. Worked for me atleast.

Yeah I agree, I managed to get through somehow just trying random ♥♥♥♥ Karnyx and Roy suggested, that and restarting my save a few times.

However, I did not have issues after this and enjoyed the game a lot.

Late to the party but I just walked outside backwards to fix it but I did die after that and it fixed itself but I was curious on if others got this bug

Confirmed that it worked by walking backwards out of the tent... strange bug!
