Yes. With GOG you can download the whole game, drm-free, and it is always yours. It never phones home, and you can make copies for backup. Steam is good and convenient, but you aren't owning the game. You've merely purchased the right to play as long as the publisher says you can. So while I have hundreds of Steam games, it's the reason I will always buy it on GOG if the game is sold in both places.

If these devs want to sell more copies of this game, then they need to release it on GOG. Many GOG users don't buy Steam games.

GoG are piece of ♥♥♥♥ crooks, same for CDRPR. Yes I know what you're thinking: These guys are awesome! I thought the same, who doesn't like DRM free games? I bought CDRPR's games multiple on Steam, GoG, also retail if possibile as long as it wasn't for console (I don't own a console).

Unfortunately, when you get a money issue, as in Gwent card game, they love to point responsability to GoG <----> CDRPR and vice versa, while it's both the same company.

I lost about 200 euro on Gwent funds and there's no way either GoG or CDPR are decent enough to come with a solution. That is why I requested my GoG account to be deleted, with many hundreds of euro invested into their games catalog.
I don't support a company who pretends to be like old school game heroes, but in the end act like any ruthless DRM platform.

Go ♥♥♥♥ yourselves GoG, same for CDRPR.

No I can't, I've already bought It.
Time to tell Steam to remove yet another GOG Game from my Library.
I now have an offline installer, well worth the £20 price to get rid of a store client.
