Difficulty level

I am really getting annoyed by the difficulty level in coronation and some other levels.
One or two levels where you have to react quick or get killed is fine, but here is a pattern in this game.
It reminds me to 'Space Invaders' where with every next level there were only increasing numbers of enemies at higher speed. This was 30 years ago, I think you could have done better. This really sucks. The stupid checkpoint makes me do the same ♥♥♥♥ over and over, listening to the same ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ all over again.

Same here. I think I died more often in this game than I did in Dark Souls. ^^ It's so annoying that you have exactly one way to solve a given situation and anything else won't work. That makes the gameplay a real tedious trial-and-error-chore.

Also...what do you do when you used most of your rocks to craft other stuff, and don't have enough to survive Coronation?

Ah, turns out there are more rocks when you go down the stairs...I had been brazenly going after the archers rather than hiding behind the wagon.

To be honest, there were only three spots in the game where it was difficult enough to repeat > 2 or 3 times on the first playthrough.

Sorry but this game is so easy, with one exception of the boss fight wich I would call moderate, that I didnt have any problems. Especially not with hiding behind that wagon.

Uhmm... I don't want to believe that you ever played dark souls... how can you possibly die more than you did on dark souls in a game like this (which is easy). Trial and error? There is no trial and error in this game unless you suck : D (I am trully sorry for this sentence). The game is pretty straightforward at what you gotta do. Also there is multiple times towards the end where there is more than one solution. And even though there is one solution in the game, it is not a trial-and-error-chore unless you totally suck. The game is pretty staightforward and objectives are quite obvious. As a person who also played dark souls and gave up I would like to state your second sentence makes no sense.

Seriously though... you played the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dark souls successfully!!! How is this game can possibly be trouble to you : D Dark Souls is known to be hard and it is made to feel like it is hard... while this game is nowhere near hard. Just How? My first reaction was to check your playtime on dark souls... and damn... you actually played it... so you are completely honest and I actually believe you. But even if it is real (AND IT IS REAL) I just can't except it... it is too strange and weird and confusing and unreal and that and this AND etc. for me to accept... but since it is real I have to accept. Just one question... how... you are clearly a capable gamer... just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ how?

Nooo! Don't let him dissuade you! I've played the game through to completion and really have no idea what the OP is talking about.

"Constantly increasing swarms of enemies"? Combat is not even the main focus of the game. The story is. It plays mainly as an adventure/puzzle/stealth game with some combat thrown in. There are only two or three instances in the entire game where you could call it a "swarm of enemies" and even that is a stretch.

It's truly not a hard game. The puzzles where harder than the combat in the game and even the hard ones of those only required a extra few minutes of time looking around to see what you are missing.

The game is not difficult, but imho not that easy either. I died at least 20 times and didn't even finish chapter 4.
More than 5 of those are because of bad controls. (trying to climb over an edge, but instead the character jumps backwards).
The lack of a manual save option just makes the problems worse.

On chapter 4 there is a little hut with piggies (Hugo makes a comment about them). I went forward and after a while I ended back up at the house. Must have missed the right way. On itself, while annoying, isn't that much of an issue. But the problem is that I used the pots so I can't get further/back. And I must have had a chekpoint basicly on top of where I didn't take the right way, but the game just made new checkpoints as a went the wrong way. Which wouldn't have happened with a better save system or manual saves.

So I removed the game from my computer. It's to frustrating for me.
