Stuck on Chapter 5- can't progress
Im stuck at this section, I've seen playthroughs and the guard is supposed to walk towards the torch, but he doesn't. Cant trigger the scene - tried everything and updated to latest patch.

I have seen others with the same issue, have you tried restarting the chapter?

Yeah, after restarting everything was fine.
Try not rushing too fast.
Without spoilers: today I had similar issue, when I killed the guard before Amicia said how to do it and another guard killed me. Now they're all in superposition - both dead and alive... :/
With little spoilers: In 10th chapter you'll have to eliminate heavy armored guard by dropping chandelier at him. Don't drive him under it using a pot! After loading save he'll be frozen standing in fire and the smith won't open the door -he's gonna be frozen as well. The guard will move to the right spot when you're closer.
