Game won't start: Fixed!

Every time I start the game: The code execution cannot proceed because MSVCP140.dll, VDRUNTIME140.dll x 2 are missing. Obviously something is missing being that on the download page it says 41-42 something GB, but it only downloads 19.5 GB.
Where to find the rest of the game? And yes, I have reinstalled it, verified integrity of files, but no matter I'm always given the 19.5 GB to download only.
I mean, I can only press on install, right. Am I an idiot?
Please can somebody help.
Well, never mind. I fixed it myself. Couldn't install Visual C++ restributable 2015 without deleting restributable 2017. Weird.

Thank you very much for your help. It's good for me. This is very strange that the devs couldn't apply the patch to fix it.. Only update the Microsoft Visual C++ restributable

It is the fact that the game doesn't support Microsoft Visual C++ restributable 2017 in Windows 10.

hi did you fixt the issue? i started downloading the game and it says only 19.5 gb, i dont have c++ 2017 on my laptop because you said i should delete it. please help i really want to play the game

steam installs shared depot 228980 which is

visual studio c++ 2017 redist

download from microsoft and install BOTH x64 and x86 with admin permission.
(files should also be in your ...\steam\steamapps\common\steamworks shared folder)

I don't own the game via Steam so I can't confirm, but I assume you have to do the following:

Download both x64 and x86 c++ 2017 redistributables from Microsoft:

x64: https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x64.exe
x86: https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x86.exe

Execute and install them as Administrator: Right click on them > Run as administrator
