The chunk of ash is in the chapter of the gold butterfly where you help the girl named Charllote. And by the way dont pick the black butterfly where you help Ophelia just yet or you'll regret not finish it, because it's too hard I finished the black butterfly almost half day where the story of the main character is revealed the sasuke eren look a like guy. Spoiler dont read it if you dont wanna: black angel or angel of death or angel of life, or our Lord God who knows, :D it's for you to find out.

Maybe did you (or someone else) see two others chunks in Ophelia's chapter and Marie's chapter?

I did remember entering some rooms idk the exact number of room with a sewing machine and sewing kits kinda warmy room in the gold butterfly but when you saw a gold butterfly and touch it, it will leave the chunk of ash which I got.

I did remember entering some rooms idk the exact number of room with a sewing machine and sewing kits kinda warmy room in the gold butterfly but when you saw a gold butterfly and touch it, it will leave the chunk of ash which I got.

You can also find chunk of ash from a wooden toy boat in the river Blue butterfly, I think I missed the chunk of ash from Ophelia it must be from the blood room where in the middle of the halls I did not enter the room cause I can't it full of blood maybe you can enter it after the final quest of Ophelia.

I'm not sure if you need to trigget all her past memories by peeking to all doors. (It's not hard to miss). Once you get objective to open Hat Box from coffin and tools to open. You head back to the way to Ophelia's bedroom. Just revisit Library room in same section. (The room with hanging corpses and standing lamp) You'll find box with Chunk of Ash there.

What if I already finish the Ophelia chapter can go back? I think I can't anymore. :( I'm sad I miss that part but I saw that creepy room where two body's of statue hanging.Can I go back even if I finished it already?

I'm still on Maria chapter, but I don't think you can go back to previous chapters. It's like permanent consequense.

Looks like it. Because when I was in Library in my first walkthrough (it was before all doors), there was nothing.

To start with I didn't care so much to obtain the true ending, but since there is a lot of attention about it, I am nonetheless trying. Yet, in Ophelia's chapter, I found it hard to obtain the ash. I have a pair of pliers which I suppose will be used to open the coffin, but still no ash. I suppose that I have not seen all memories yet, but it seems rather difficult to locate all of them.

It is difficult in Ophelia's chapter cause she will chase you everywhere and slash you, just finish all quest memories of ophelia then if you already have the pliers and the scisor go to the library the thing is when you enter it there's this last door the last memory of ophelia peek then you will notice no doll is going to chase you and the hallways for the room of ophelia and the library the lights turned blood red so go in the library and get the chunk of ash I think this time you already done it. And also did you see the big head of the one eyed doll and the big fish? and the true ending is so sad to be honest I felt sad being anangel who gathers and help the lost souls aka those girls you've helped, the trailer already said it, it was a dream the main character aka angel dream of those 4 girls and helped them.

Thank you, Bowsette. I eventually managed to get the happy ending, which was also very sad, but since everybody was talking about the "true ending", I wanted to achieve it as well. The trick was that I needed a saw, the pliers and also a pair of scissors to open Ophelia's coffin and Ophelia was chasing me everytime I found a new tool. Anyway, after hiding from her several times, I was able to also get the chunk of ash, before opening the inner box in the coffin.
