Help with Tomb of Archpriest Narmer quest (spoiler!)? [SOLVED]
I'm mopping up old quests, but I seem to be stuck on this one.
I've found the main room, killed two waves of enemies and now I'm supposed to be looking for a clue. All I can find is a "hot spot" next to the tomb, but this opens up an empty storage space.
Been looking around for walkthroughs online, and all I find is "check the corpse of the archeologist next to the tomb"... but there IS NO such corpse anywhere near!
Am I missing something, or is something wrong with this quest? Any help would be highly appreciated!

I had the same problem. Turn loot animations off, and quickly auto loot the corpse and the sarcophagus there before fighting the undead. If you fight the undead first, then loot....the corpse gets bugged.

You can spawn the note using cheats:
Open console (the button above the tab-key) and write:
twoworldscheats 1
and press enter. Then write
qitem_1859
and enter again. The note should appear at your feet. And don´t use keypad when writing the numbers.
This I found from the internets and not on my own

but if I use that code won't it mess up the in-game achievements ?

I had a problem with this, because the game now doesn't recognize the
"twowordscheats 1" console command.
It seems the command is changed.
This is what worked for me:

cotcheats 1
qitem_1859

any idea what the item from the Huni tomb is? I assume its the same problem since I killed the mummies and then there was nothing to loot and no quest progress...
getting sick of this particular quest chain due to loot bugs x.x

edit: ah, there was a guy left alive elsewhere in the maze. sure woulda been nice if the quest log had said something along the lines of "look for survivors". wasn't anyone in any of the others, so I didn't think there would be here either, I just decided to look around more on the off chance one of the other bodies maybe had something, lol.

As much fun as blind exploration is, I would strongly suggest consulting a wiki for at least a map of the remaining tombs. Also I would suggest creating a save before you enter the tomb that you do not save over until you are finished with the tomb, both for potential bugs or in case you get hopelessly lost.

im good at mazes, i don't have trouble with that. I just thought it was another bug and had no evidence to the contrary because of it being the case in the first one. fortunately I decided to look around a little more rather than just give up.

I have been doing the save outside first thing ever since the first one though, lol

I would love to know if you can make it through all of them blind. I tried mapping them myself the first time I played the game but had to give in eventually. Good luck and let me know whether or not you are successful, and if you are how long that last maze takes.

Might be a few days before I get there as I don’t go straight from one to the next usually but I’m certainly going to give it a shot, haha.

Well if tomb 9 was the last one it took me 8 minutes. And that was to get in, kill everything and loot, and get back out. There were small barrels marking where to turn though, so I don’t know if they were just added later for people who aren’t good at mazes or if it’s a difficulty level thing lol. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Worked for me.

Careful guys. Enabling cheats disables achievements.
