You're dumb af. I can tell.
If i had to pick one id go with the second one. If you can enjoy games like Gothic, then you probably would enjoy the first one more than i would.
What are your specs? Do you have any mods or patches installed? I really wanted to get into the game but i can't walk a few footsteps without the game stopping for half a second. I walked to the first main town past the Grom camp and the stables but then decided to quit playing because of this issue. (and the no dialog issue.)
I felt that the story was equally weak in both. I couldn't even make myself give a crap about anything that was going on. To be fair, I felt the same way about Skyrim, but at least in the Two Worlds games there was still something fun about exploring and leveling up and just playing the game(s).
I didn't care for the ending of either. The first one just seemed to end abruptly without any real resolution. The 2nd one is also guilty of this, but they try and hide it by throwing in a plot twist and a really annoying "Final Boss Battle".
Two worlds II really improves at later levels and once your off the training island and you develop some skills.
Once you get access to a sailing boat the game opens up even more as there are some neat areas to explore.Like underground area's located on tiny sand islands you would never even think such an installation would exist.
Tempted to reinstall and try a necro character with Worldmerge.
First part have some serious issues with some sound devices. At least with my realtek internal sound chip and/or nvidia hd audio - i had to turn off sound effects to run the game smoothly. With sound effects enabled it will have a lot of micro-freezes when i'm fighting enemies, but with sound fx off - it is smooth as butter.
That is unusual, maybe the sound library that they used has a few issues with memory management.
