Fix V2.02 for TW2 and CoT DLC has been just published.

Fixes

• Graphical compatibility updates between “Call of the Tenebrae” and the basic “Two Worlds II” campaign (NOTE: this is a global update, although the compatibility issue only affected some systems.)
  
• Minor corrections of the Mothark musician's behaviors.

Improvements

• Brand new musical score implemented across the maps.
  
• Further audio adjustments in cutscenes.
  
• Incidental music updated.
  
• The “Isle of the Mists” map adjustments.
  
• SPOILER: Frequency in which the players can steal money from the musician in the center of Dorchad adjusted
  
• SPOILER: Butterfly particles for "Pretty Red Butterflies" sidequest improved
  
• SPOILER: particles adjusted in the "Free the Fireflies" sidequest
  
• SPOILER: Appearance adjustments of certain NPC models (e.g. Vanderbilt, armed Vanderbilt, naked Edainn)
  
• General improvements across the maps.

Will the Mac version receive any of the engine updates? I read on a thread that used to be pinned that the Linux version was only going to be a straight port of the content without engine updates?

We are not sure, what we can do. Normally it should not be a problem, but it seems like it is one.

Thanks for the update and fingers crossed there is a good outcome :) Is the porting done inhouse or outsourced? I'm a big fan of TW2 and liked the fact you put in the effort to deliver multiplatform releases. I also couldn't resist pre-ordering all the new content so it's good to see the recent patches addressing the issues with the original game & expansion.

So I have to install the game completly new to get the latest version?

I have the Topware download version and i did what you said. How I do know, that I downloaded the latest version?

I'm a Steam user and I am not in way associated or affiliated with publisher or developer so what I can give is only my personal opinion. Had you bought from Topware shop then perhaps they could have helped you but judging from your post then it sounds as a Steam (gift) purchase in which case you have only Steam support to help you. But even though I think that Steam support in general is not that great then you (or buyer) ought to at least ask Steam support if possible if you are not entirely happy with your purchase (also I do not know how much you have used the game DLC)., and I do not know Steam policy in general in the matter.
