controller not working

im using an xbox controller, plugged in and working on other games. but it doesnt seem to let me select anything on the menususing the controller.

strangley i get the same issue on on both two worlds 2 and two world epic edition (got them both in the sale). on two worlds two the right thumbsticks works and lets me spin the camera round on the main menu but nothing else (so cant select anything on the menus), on two worlds epic edition i cant get past the initial screen asking me to select pad or mouse because again, i cant navigate the screens.

really bugging me. ive seen others with the same issue on a few forums for both this and two worlds epic edition but no on seems to suggest a fix.

ive tried everything i can think of. tried unplugging controller and loading with kb and mouse (which seems to work ok but im on a tablet sized screen so kb and mouse not really an option for long term gaming).

im on a linx vision (one which slots into an xbox controller so its kinda built in). just cant get it to work on these two games.

really random, especially as the right thumbstick moves the camera about on the menu so i assume it is all connected ok, just no other buttons work.

I am almost sure TW2 does not support controler use. I t does not include it in the features avail on store page.

thanks. but, for two worlds two, yes it definatley does support controllers and the store page tags it as 'full controller support'.

two world epic edition (the first game) isnt tagged as full controller support, but it does support controllers if you reenable tbe gamepad option (should anyway according to the other threads)

Run the Game in (DirectX 10) then the controller support will work.

Can confirm Windows 10 with 360 controller, you cannot interact with the main menu whatsoever with the controller.

My contoller didn,t work when I plugged it in with the game open but works fine if I plug it in before launching the game. Actually think keyboard and mouse contols don't work if you launch it with a contoller plugged in. Guess you have to make your mind up before you start!
