You mean on my huge 4K wall sized display, instead of a cheap headset?
And still waiting for an actual answer here.
If you are looking for games like this that are playable on desktop see here: *Link removed! Steam started permabanning users for linking adult content patches!*
*They banned me twice already for links in 4+ year old posts/reviews*
*♥♥♥♥ Valve*
A game by the same company with way more content and customization but VR was only an afterthought for it.
Yes exactly... and I can bet that Honey Select makes magnitudes more money than VR Kanojo.
It is financial folly to make a game that only has a 0.63% steam VR market share...
Standard display as an option would actually allow them to make money...
Lets put it in proper context:
Honey Select is 60 bucks CAD.. I paid it.. I own it.. I play it.. Because It works on both VR and Standard Display..
VR Kanojo is on sale for 39.00 CAD.. even if they gave it away.. It would not entice me to buy a headset to play it...
But if it had standard display as an option.. I would pay 60 bucks for VR Kanojo.. as would thousands of others... Just like Honey Select..
VR is -simply- more immersive. Even if the current resolution is kinda potato.... well, if you had a VR kit, you would know that it's a whole other perspective.
This game is not intended to be played with a peasant monitor. You're supposed to be able to move on close to the girl, move your controllers around her and so on. It creates some sort of illusion that it's real.
Which you can't get through a monitor. Unless you're REALLY hungry.
