I noticed at parts in I believe level 1 and level 2: I would take damage near a spiked wall, and my character would be knocked through the spiked wall during the brief moment of invincibility frames after taking damage. This allowed me to access areas and skip parts of the two levels. I don't know if this is intentional but I thought I should bring it up. If needed I could replay the levels to locate the parts in question....

After done with the final boss, now I'm stuck in Layer 11, in which it's impossible to keep grabbing the hands as all of them are being located farther and farther. So it this level playable? Or it's just a torture from the ending?

Is this game's story part of the "I swear it's a nice game" series, or just of similar style? I'm wondering if it makes a difference what order I play the games in.
