Special K Texture Mods on Linux?
I've been browsing the mods on the Nexus and there are a few texture mods that I'd like to try out but they all seem to require an MS-Windows process injector called Special K. I currently have the native Linux version of the game installed so I'm pretty sure the injector won't work.

Has anyone here gotten any of these mods to work when running natively in Linux or under Proton? I'd love to enjoy this game (with a few mods) on my Steam Deck.

I'd wager you could get them running with Proton, but am certainly unsure, as I, like yourself, run the game natively.

Not sure, though how is the process of using these in Windows, if it is a runtime substitution via injection, that's more difficult (though not impossible to do) on Linux, but if it is simply a matter of using an extractor and placing files in a certain directory (such as override), that should be much easier.

I have been trying to figure out how mods can be used on the Linux version here in Steam. What I fond, is that the mod tools are looking for the windows executable. So far, it does not look like there is any way to do this manually, without using the mod tools or SpecialK.
