Missing base camps?

The maps says I have 4/5 base camps in Kuwaq Yaku. But, as far as I can tell, I have them all (something like 7 on the map, and I checked against a list online).

Anyoine know why one of them would not be registering?

Because you didn't find it and light it.
I have discovered that if you don't use it, it doesn't show.
Just to be on the safe side, please verify the integrity of your game's files through Steam as you might be missing a file or two.

Same here, have 8 camps, but mine shows 5/5
Guess some camps are optional and are not required for 100%

I can help you if you post a screenshot of your map, so i can see which base camp you are missing. :)

i missed 1 too at that region. then i swam from the pier to the other side. That was the one i missed. There is a backbag lying around too ;)

Nope it's because some campfire is removed in deadly obsession difficulty

It only counts the campfires in and around the town of Kuwaq Yaku. Does not count campfires in challenge tombs, crypts, or combat areas.

That's exactly the one I was missing and that backpack was a godsend to 100% the area. I'd say it's bad level design; It's pretty out of the way there's no reason to swim there.
