Where are the photo mode screenshots stored?
Hi there! Quick question.. I took a few screenshots using the photo mode, the screen dimmed for a split second each time so I assume it took them? However, I've got no clue where they're stored. Checked my Documents and the SoTTR game folder in steamapps > common but I didn't find anything.

If anyone has got a clue on where they're saved I'd be pleased to know :)

go to SotTR in your library and scroll down. you find there your screenshots. there is a button where you can go to the savepoint on your harddisk

should be there C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\174005602\760\remote\750920\screenshots

Hmm yeah I took them without the Steam overlay just using the photo mode so I didn't find anything in that folder. Thankyou for the help and directions though, Traveler! Will remember that if I do use Steam for screenshots sometime.

I've got GFE installed so I'll use that to capture screenshots for now when using the photo mode. Thanks for the heads up! :)

I had some pics I really liked that I tried using the button prompts in game. It says to use the Touchpad on the DS4, and the screen did a thing when I clicked it, but apparently that wasnt anything meaningful. Major bummer.

Same thing happened to me! The screen dimmed / did a thing but the screenshots were nowhere to be found. Real bummer indeed, at least there are still other ways to capture screenshots despite, at least for me personally, being a hassle at times. I hope the photo mode will work as intended soon.

Don't mean to bump an old thread, but I initially had this problem, too (my workaround was to do Windows+PrintScreen to take screenshots, since absolutely nothing else worked, not even FRAPS), until I realized it was an annoying default feature on my NVIDIA GTX 1070 card: https://steamcommunity.com/discussions/forum/12/619569608531288551/?ctp=2

In my case, I turned off the "In-Game Overlay" feature in the GeForce Experience app (which, as it says, "Easily records videos, take screenshots....", yeah, this is exactly what caused the problem), and voila, in-game SoTR screenshots now work and save just as described and intended.

So double check if your graphics card (whether NVIDIA or whatever else) might be doing something annoying by default to take over or interfere with your recording/screenshot.
super bummer! i was taking photos with my new 2070 super and didn't have steam overlayt turned on! but loving this game on rtx tyvm devs

https://steamcommunity.com/app/750920/discussions/0/1742220359687967208/ They are correct, but the way you get there is different.
You just go to view in steam then go to screenshots and then you'll get a drop-down for all the games you've played and can pick them from there and access the file locations.
