PC or PS4 version

What do you think of how the PC port will be? I have an AMD R9 290, 4gb. Do you think it will run better than a PS4? Should I get this game on my PS4 instead?

Hi, sorry for my english
like many other games i think this game will have bugs and frame drops on release, both pc and consoles. but they will release patch to fix those. consoles will have the option to run 60fps @1080p or 30fps @4k, if your pc is running Rise without significant problem then you good to go.

it's really up to you, if you doubt your pc can't run this game then go for the ps4.

LOL the PS4 will not be running this game at 30 frames per second at 4K especially the base model. And even the PS4 Pro could not even come remotely close to maintaining 60fps at 1080p in Rise of the Tomb Raider.

Nixxes are known for delivering solid PC games so I'd go with PC. You could wait till the 12th when the early access people get a chance to play - if there are no red flags and benches look good for your card then you can decide.

PC will be all around the more superior version. Just look at the previous games and how well they ran compared to consoles. All the games also scaled back their graphics and shaders so consoles could handle them.

Playing on console is just unacceptable. Thankfully we're finally getting Halo Infinite on PC too! That pretty much invalidates consoles!

Though it took a while for rise of the tomb raider to get opmtize for pc since it was orignally port from the Xbox one ;3.

Nixxes is handling this? Decision made then. Have relied on those guys to do right by PC since Hitman Absolution, can't go wrong.

Take the PC version if you want to adjust yourself the level of details to get the FPS you expect.

Take the console version to play, never mind the configuration, the game will be playable without problem.

In any cases, your PC configuration is near of the console version.

Well ROTTR runs amazingly well. I expect the same from this game

Getting the game here on steam, and that is mostly because i enjoy aiming weapons and overall control with my mouse and keyboard as well
