There are very good help features in game - which most people prefer to a manual these days - but also a friendly community here who will help you with anything you ask about (including the developer stepping in to give advice on lots of things).
Let us know what you’re struggling with, and we’ll do what we can to help. It’s a great game, and worth the time getting into it.
In the mean time I suggest checking the video tutorial thread for information on how to operate the trains and read signals. The videos themselves are interesting bits of history.
In the game I suggest starting with simple controls and other helpers enabled, then moving on to full controls and disabling helpers one by one once you feel you've got the hang of things.
If English is not your native language I also recommend checking if there's a translation for your language in the Steam Workshop.
