I am curious too I bought it a few years ago during a sale and never got around to installing it/updating it haha. So... once it updates it'll be better??

big fixes and optimization
Savager Jan 21, 2024 @ 1:49pm
Not much, they said bug fixes and optimization but i did not notice any improvement. Game still has some stutters when you travel through the city. They previously released some enhanced version with better visuals for consoles and Switch and they did not released that version here for some reason. I suspect that "enhanced" version exists only because they needed to re-release the game bcs the old version was still published by Nacon/Bigben.

Blatant misinformation. The console versions are on par with the up-to-date PC version. Also gonna point out that the Switch version of the game actually has far more problems than even the older Steam version including missing textures. It is by no definition "enhanced" compared to any other version.

Its not. You can look it up lol. The game released on Xbox and PS5 has an Enhanced Edition and this new PC release has nothing about enhanced visuals said from the devs. And the part about publisher is also true, they made that edition bcs Nacon was making money on the old versions. Its true that the visuals are not really that much better. And Its also true that the new PC version still has stutters and some fps drops bere and there.

Can you provide a source other than 'look it up, lol.'

What the hell do you want from me? Or atleast tell me which part i am apparently lying about. Enhanced version exist, publisher problems happened, lawsuits happened, the game does not run better than before bcs I played the OG numerous times and i started a new playthrough now and stutters and fps drops are still there.

And in the official F.A.Q. here on Steam from the developers you can literally read this:

Q. Are there any visual enhancements or gameplay updates in this new version?
A. No. That’s not to say we are not considering it in the future.

So your source are devs themselves here on Steam. You are welcome!

The issue isn't that you're lying, it's that you've misinformed yourself. Console versions get "enhanced" for new console editions (e.g. PS4 -> PS5) because they have better hardware. The PC version doesn't require such "enhancement" because it's not locked to a specific set of hardware specs. So, we get the bug fixes and optimizations but the graphical updates aren't necessarily needed.

Just report the troll and move on. They know damn well that they're lying. Either that or they have genuinely never seen gameplay of the console versions (especially the Switch, that version is ROUGH!)

Except you didn't provide a source for any of your claims. The console versions are identical if not inferior to the PC port.

If thats true than i dont have a problem with that. I am getting my info from the devs and what they said. I never saw anywhere that enhanced edition was just the same as the already released version on PC.

One version is called enhanced edition and in devs answers and question they said "no graphical changes" so how am I supposed to take it?
