I liked that it was a decent take on the Mystery Dungeon (that unique spin Chunsoft gave to a couple of rogeulike series most notably Dragon Quest Torneko and Shiren) with monster abilities. Needing to use the "Bravery Mechanic" to charge these abilities was a bit tedious and I didn't really appreciate that you couldn't even tell the TYPE of armor or weapon you were looking at until you tried it (I'm cool with not knowing if it is cursed or blessed before wielding, but knowing whether something is a mace or a long sword should be easy enough to determine even before wielding).

At this point, and I'm not even a fan of the Touhou franchise nor games that really seem to sexualize little pre-teen girls (not that this is even close to hentai, but still a little creepy), Touhou Genso Wanderer Reloaded is the BEST example of a true Mystery Dungeon game. 19 characters to play as with unique skills, dozens of different items, a pretty straight forward crafting system, and a wide variety of interesting bad guy special abilities. I think my biggest whine is since this great system is so linked to the Touhou mythos, all of the folk you meet in the dungeon are little girls with various hair colors and slightly different fur costumes. I would have loved to see a game taking much of these bad guy abilities and recast them into actual creatures. Some might still be little girls but not ALL OF THEM. It would make it a lot easier to tell all of the various enemy units apart.

Yes I see in all the gameplay videos only pre-teen girls which is kinda creepy really.

Some people recommend me DrangonFangZ instead of Genso Wanderer Reloaded, people say is better. Do you recommend DrangoFangZ over Genso Wanderer Reloaded?

I like Torneko and Shiren, if DragonFangZ is very similar, it will be my next buy =)

I really like how the game encourages you to fight in open spaces instead of retreating into a corridor whenever there's more than one enemy. And yeah it's very similar to Torneko and Shiren.

The other day, someone on internet shared with me a few games similar to shiren, but none was really like it, "ZHP ranger vs darkdeath" and don't remember the other game right now, I think was "monster girl" or something similar.
