The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II

PC or Vita
I bought the first one on Vita cause it was on sale and so far quite liking it but just wondering should I buy 2nd one on Steam for better visuals and FPS or stick to Vita for portablilty?

I know its a matter of preference but can someone list the benefits on PC version like mods etc?

PC. The Vita version is just horribly sluggish.

You forgot that the vita versions of CS1 and 2 have crazy pop-in. Unlimited draw distance makes a big difference in these games.

PC.

Vita doesn't have JP voices.
yeah even the first one doesnt have ♥♥♥ voices I think they did that to save on file size. Okay will look into getting it on Steam. Thanks peeps
Another thing I forgot to ask; does the save follow on from the previous game on previous save. Say similar to how Mass effect works or doesnt it matter?

Battle time loads are about 7-8 seconds going out of battle and since you do it so often it gets annoying on the vita version. The only upside is portability to be honest.

uh-oh...I have no the first one on Vita....

How will the 2nd one work when starting new game ?
is there any way of getting a save editor?

For e.g I complete the first one on Vita and import someone elses save which closely matches my own if that makes sense?

The great thing about starting it again on pc is that you can start CS3 (when it comes out) with the data from CS2

i have seen vita footage, some character special effects, and places can drop the frame rate to like, 5, its the same with the console but not as drastic, assuming you have a good computer, and you dont mind english voices on japanese characters as well as 5000+ additional english lines exclusive for pc version, then pc is probebly the best version.

and you can always mod it when needed.

I have all 3 versions; PC version is no contest. Vita is neat, and amazing for a vita game, but it's otherwise really quite inferior. Steam Cloud is awesome for one; if you have laptop/desktop/GPD Win you can play it at home or on the go and not compromise.

And turbo mode. 'nuff said
