Stunhalberd: it just makes so much sense. Polearms are easy to pick up and train and have an advantage over short ranged weapons like maces and swords. They were a common military weapon, and in a universe with orbal technology were melee combat can still persists, a pole weapon could be enhanced to focus on disabling people rather than outright killing them. The head was basically replaced with a taser.
Tonfas: ]used both to enhance hand-to-hand martial arts techniques and as an extension of one's body. It can be concealed within Lloyd's jacket, can be used to hook people, can be used to block swung weapon, and used to punch. Either hand can be used to block or attack! It's riskier than a sword because you have to literally be right in front of your target to fight, without the range of a sword to allow you time to dodge from an incoming strike.
Swords: because ofcourse![tvtropes.org] But really, I also like the chain/whip swords used by the squires. That's all I have to say. That said, it would've been interesting if Joshua and Rean had continued down the pure martial pacifist route and tried to apply their sword swinging skills in a non-lethal manner like Himura Kenshin did when he hung up the life of an assassin to be a martial pacifist by using a reverse blade sword (the forward facing edge is blunt while the back edge is sharp).
Agate/Laura/Mueller's greatsword. Love how it's so powerful, plus how each character uses it differently, really makes it feel versatile in combat.
Estelle's Bo Staff. It's just iconic and looks good on Estelle.
Tita's Orbal Cannon. A unique weapon type that sadly doesn't make much of an appearance outside of Sky.
Sharon's bladed chains. Immediately made Sharon a favorite to play as. These weapons are too cool if a bit overpowered.
Least Favorite:
Tio/Emma/Elliot's orbal staff. Feels unncessary when Orbments are a thing. But whatever. If Toval can be the best Orbment user in Erebonia without owning an orbal staff, then it feels redundant.
CS taito character unfortunately not very playable.
