Did Class VII really went to Ymir in the first game?

I'm asking because I don't remember they ever went there when I played the first game. It's confusing whenever the characters talked as if they did went there, like when Millium said the location where Valimar slept is where they "fought a monster" or when Gaius said "it's as beautiful as he remembered it".

Seriously, did they really went to Ymir in the first game or did I forgot?

yea they did. Its before final chapter, made in art. After their audience with emperor they go on vacation in Ymir. They basically only mention it and have couple pictures.

Oh, so technically I didn't miss anything. That's a relief. I was afraid I missed a DLC or a hidden quest in new game+. Funny how the characters acted as if us players physically went there in the game.

yea, Rean says basically "It was fun, but i dont have time now to tell you about it", they practice there etc.

yeah these were snuck in out of game,, but when cs2 was released/announced, xseed told everyone to read up on the link littlesneak added.

It was released separately from the game.

Xseed isn't exactly rich so I can understand why they didn't have it voiced.

Ymir was actually planned to be in the first game, but they cut if for reasons that I'm not sure of (time maybe?). Because it was cut, the story was released separately in an audio drama. The actual Ymir is mostly in the first game, and can be accessed somehow, but it's not functional.

The actual reason was that the audio drama CD was a separate license and they couldn't get that one.

Including the audio drama CD would have added little value to the English version since that CD is in Japanese.

Therefore, it would have been best for XSEED to have the English voice actors record a new drama CD by reading the script for it that they translated into English.
