good graphics, good story. The dlc was even better

This has got to be one of the worst gaming experiences I've ever had to sit through. In terms of gameplay, you'd get a better experiences from a generic, low effort, dime-a-dozen, free-roam FNAF fangame than this heap of hot garbage. The objectives are extremely vague and you'll be searching around this damn mall for hours on end just trying to figure out what you need to do in this area, only to find out what you're looking for is on the other side of the building via a guide. There's also many stupid situations where the devs should've thought it was a good idea to give the players auto saves, as there are many sequences where you can not save, but the task at hand is usually an unnecessarily hard and an endless cycle of death, but no. If you die, you need to restart the entire sequence all over again. Once you make it to the end of the game where you can decide to leave or stay, you do not get to save if you choose to stay, making any sense of exploration or collecting absolutely pointless and super tedious if you're trying to get a different ending. If you die in that section, you lose everything you've collected since you've made it to the end.

How does it run? In 2021, this game released as a buggy and unoptimized and still is to this day. I'm running a Ryzen 9 Series for my CPU and an RTX 3050, and it still runs like crap. You will get MASSIVE frame drops that pretty much freeze the game for up to 30 seconds. Do not think for a second that I'm exaggerating. I'd also like to bring up raytracing in this game; Don't use it. One of the largest selling points for this game back during release was the raytracing compatibility. The game sinks to a low 15 fps on low raytracing on a 3050 as soon as you step into the atrium or any prop, light, or particle dense area. I still do not believe that this game was play tested at any point in it's development cycle to this very day.

As for bugs, many run rampant through this dumpster fire. I had to restart my entire playthrough because I was at a part where I had to flip a generator to open up a gate. As soon as I flipped that generator, I went to a save station so I wouldn't get screwed should I die. After saving and then dying as I predicted, I made my way back to that generator. The gen was flipped on, but the gate was still close. There was nothing I could do to reset the generator.

If you're thinking this game's file size is so large because it's jam-packed with things to do, don't. Probably 3/4 of this damn game's file size is unused content.

One positive thing I'll say about this game is the RUIN DLC. While it was super well made, it ain't anywhere near enough to redeem this game (if you could even call it that).

Conclusion, keep your money in your pocket and watch somebody else suffer through this sorry excuse for a game. Pushing myself through this hellhole was like pushing the moon through the eye of a needle. This game runs like garbage, plays like garbage, and is a broken dream lying in a casket of absolute garbage. While Steel Wool should be utterly embarrassed by this game, even I can say that the damning of this monstrosity was not entirely their fault. There's been evidence that Sony was demanding things for this game that heavily affected it's quality. And then there's the fanbase, SPED monkeys that they are, couldn't sit still for 3 months, let alone a year for a FNAF game to be release and pestered the hell out of Scott Cawthon and Steel Wool Studios to get this game out ASAP.
