So it doesnt matter how far away you are. You can literally see them teleport if you turn around after an alert sound. And then they will home to where you are.
Its bad design, but you can use equally bad design to outplay all of them. Just jump on a desk or slightly higher ledge. The AI is broken so they'll think you're gone even if you're right in front of them.
I get the alert part, and I don't really mind that.
I just want to be able to run away far enough and hide from them. But even if I hide in several rooms over she seems to know where I am; it's like I can't break line of sight with her. Mildly frustrating.
