I also just reinstalled the game yesterday after a few months of not playing. Fresh install and drivers are up to date.

That was the same error I got. I'm unsure how to fix it besides deleting the mods folder in that stated folder location. You might need to wait for a patch.

im having the same issue.. no mods and it crashes when i try to launch it and i dont have a mods folder either

I used the Uuu.Client mod and all of a sudden I can't use the ~viewmode lit/unlit.

But everything works just fine and the only reason it lags is cus I have 40 gigabytes of free space instead of the recommended 80 gigabytes.

ATTENTION: Read if You Have Mods
Security Breach seems to crash for many people on startup because they had mods installed before the new update or DLC. The way to fix the crash issue is by going to the drive the game is installed on then go to \SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Quarters\fnaf9\Content\Paks then you will see a mods folder and just delete that.
