Please help me, my game has performance issues and I have no idea how to fix it.
Hello, could you please fix my security breach game? or do you have any solutions that I can do? A while ago, my PC encountered a glitch and crashed randomly while I was playing security breach (Not the dlc, just security breach itself). When I opened it back up again I lost ALL my progress. I went to play it all over again but I ran into another problem. The crash that my PC encountered didn't just delete all my progress, it ruined performance issues of the game. Whenever I get jumpscared or certain cutscenes show, my screen suddenly turns black and I can't see anything. The quality and lightening of the game became really bad so I tried to change it in the game settings but when I make changes in the settings and get out to resume playing, the settings don't save the changes I make. Because of these issues I can't win through the entire game anymore as at a moment in the game I had to upgrade Freddy but when I need to see the pattern sequence I need to perform, my screen turns black and I can't do anything. And when I downloaded RUIN, the same problems occur and I can't even get passed RUIN either. I tried to find solutions to fix these issues but none of them work. I tried restarting, verify integrity of game files, clear download cache, repairing game folder, uninstalling and installing again and more but nothing works. And I don't know anyone near me that can help me. So what I ask for you is could you help me with my issues? do you have a solution that can help? please help me as I really want to have fun with this game like others. If you do have a solution for my problem, thank you.

I know this is late, but try verifying your game files.

To do this head to:

Security breach > Right Click > Properties > Installed files > Verify game files

It may take a while but it might fix your problem.
I don't know if the problem is still relevant, but I have my own guide on Steam - https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3355982323 . Also try to check the system for errors. If you have Windows, then do the following:
Run the command line as administrator, and enter the following:
sfc /scannow
After completion, enter this:
chkdsk C: /F /R
Also, try to check the disk for errors with the VICTORIA HHD/SSD program
(My guide has instructions on how to remove the driver via DDU, you MUST reinstall the driver!!!)
