Would be fun if they went all in on the fnaf1-4 eeriness.
That was obvious, but I think its been confirmed.
My stance: they probably would have had more budget if they used what they had wisely and shrunk the map size down.
The original teasers at least implied that both him and Vanny would be untrustworthy and one of them confirmed would be out to get you
For me, that sounds a lot more interesting than what they went with in the end.
Unironically, the broken AI leads to a scarier game.
Doesnt fix the environment, but it does add the tension that teleporting AI in the main game doesnt have.

I just watch up the story from yutbobbers because the gameplay is boring and none of the fnaf games are actually scary. Millions of views but not sale numbers.
Makes sense to me to start appealing more and more to the younger audience and hey, they get scared from a funny rabbit with or without a knife anyway.
Glitches are pretty awful, and the game isnt scary at all but at least it did bring some sad and hilarious compilations.
I think the point is that you play as a security guard in these movies. You play as a kid nowadays.. the complications of killing a child are higher than just your average person.
That sounds a lot scarier than glitch possession and having the same villain return over and over again to the point where he is just a joke now.
"I always come back" could even be used nonliterally as a nod to him inspiring future crazy murderers
