Whether censorship or not, there's a lot of unused elements that definitely would've made it better.
It just seems like the easy scapegoat in order to avoid blaming Steel Wool for just trying too much and overwhelming themselves while focusing on map size over functionality and horror.
And “indie team” doesn’t really excuse the quality when games like Outlast were made by even less people
Since the knife got censored out, and so did the blood, then they completely cut the intro.
That would explain why it’s so sudden and like it’s missing something
Some more evidence for what the text files look like
Vanessa threats Freddy to be disassembled and put a new endo below the Freddy suit.
I assume these suits are interchangeable a la Disney.
Would this affect the personality?
Seems each endo has some sort of issue or trauma ( Chica with the food issues, Monty with rage and envy issues, Roxy with her self esteem issues, moon/sun with bipolarity)
I also assume that each endo has its own way of acting, behavior, persona, etc.., they just program the character on top. (hence why each endo has its quirk)
Also... Would the "safe mode" be what made Freddy so friendly and protective of Gregory to the point of lying to Vanessa?
Their default mode made them completely obedient of Vanessa's orders? (as in why chica, roxy and monty seems to follow orders with no questions).
For the record I'm not even saying there is anything wrong with enjoying it as an adult, I've liked plenty of games that weren't M rated. I'm just saying at least be honest with yourself.
But it’s pretty obvious that the the first game especially, and 2-4 are definitely NOT meant for children .
You can call it gatekeeping all you want, but at no point am I saying that children can’t play them just that the games shouldn’t be talked at children first like SB.
If SB was actually trying to be scary and not censoring the smallest elements of horror, kids would still play it so it only harms the game to make it less horror
