2) Freddy mentioning that Gregory is bleeding, which was the reason why he went to the medical room,

3) “You are broken” is not a theory hint, it’s just censorship since an unused line mentions bleeding instead.

4) Vanny does not have a knife even though it was all over her promotional material and figures.

5) The “disappearances” of the children where meant to be directly stated as murders.

6) A certain true ending character has a toned down appearance, although that may be because you barely see the model

7) Gregory mentions that Vanessa is “trying to get me” when first seeing her. It was originally “trying to kill me”.

So this game was pretty much censored to lower the age rating and to “””appeal to the fanbase”””

i don't like the direction this franchise is turning, it sucks that its catering to a younger audience. like its supposed to be horror

I especially agree with N°3. It isn't a proof if we know this isn't the original line, and especially when the original line was much more explicit.

But, I'm not too sure about N°5. "Children missing once again in a Fazbear establishment" ounds a lot more mysterious than "dead children found dead at a mall" - a lot more OG FNaF, y'know?

Are the "disappearances" even associated with the Pizzaplex ?
In spite of the sheer incompetence of Fazbear entertainment, i believe the establishment would have been already closed by the authorities if a few children were proved missing on their premises.
The antagonist could use the customers database to choose which victim to kidnap later.
What do you think ?

I think they are definitely related to the PizzaPlex - especially to Vanny. But in this new universe, Fazbear Entertainment seems to be way more powerful than both Henry and Afton could've ever hoped (it has its own VR game, a endless supply of robots, and at least one establishment - the PizzaPlex). Surely, they can hide missing children, even better than the old FE.

Don’t take this next point as fact, but wasn’t it originally going to be explicitly murder, and those were Gregory’s friends? Giving him a reason to risk even going there to begin with.

If this part is true, then it’s both rushed cut content and censoring

In the Leave Ending, you see Gregory with a newspaper, the cover being an article about more disappearing children but no mention of the Pizzaplex...
If Fazbear Entertainment is as powerful as you explain, silencing the media and asking the authorities to look elsewhere is possible.

Whoever is in charge right now had enough power and money to make it so big in less than at least 6 years (unknown timeskip between FFPS and HW, but FNaF3 was 6 years before SB, so there's that). Whoever is at the top can do whatever they want, and silencing the media and corrupt authorities doesn't sound too far-fetched.

If you check the first teaser trailer, other than the cut dialogue she says that “Your friends are worried about you. They’re here with me”. So that confirms that there was originally going to be more to the “”””disappearances””””.


Although it’s weird that a game that was not meant for children would release a later sequel that was dumbed down for a rating

You can also find the mentioned cut lines in here but there are a lot of them, and it might be better to wait for a compilation video going over what happened with this entire game.

It’s going in the direction of Goosebumps, but that series was always horror for younger audiences so it’s fine there.

FNAF accidentally got a children audience that are now the biggest influence on the game tone

Who knows what the original story was going to be.

The teaser shows that Vanny was going to be a lot more manipulative and active around Gregory. Using his dead friends as bait. While Vanessa was going to be a helper character.

Maybe them being the same person would have been a big deal in that version.
