(I still dislike this game even if excluding bugs because honestly the story sucked for me a lot and seems like a lot of content was scrapped)
I'd say it would be in your best interest to just keep on eye on this game for the time being. Even though I've had fun with the game, I'd wait until some major optimization updates are pushed out.
As far as I know this game only takes place in 1 building and not a entire world but I could be wrong on that
If you're looking for genuine horror you'll get afew jump out of pants moments but the ability to literally sprint across vast open spaces somewhat nullifies some of those aspects...that and under some circumstances the animatronics have the ability to teleport almost ontop of your back.
Some people won't like it - and that's ok, not every game is for everyone.
And some people, like me, love it. For me, this game is on par with Dragon Quest 9 and Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Ring of Fates, and those are my favourite games, and I also have some serious nostalgia for Crash Bandicoot Wrath of Cortex, which generally tells you all you need to know really.
For me, this game was 100% worth it.
