Up to you, your money. I've seen a few bugs here and there but so far nothing game breaking yet. Like I said you could try it out for 2 hours then refund it if you'd rather wait till later.
As others said, wait for performance fixes as its pretty buggy right now.
And I think you can enjoy this games more when you only know little part of the lore and not be a huge fan of the first games. Because the game itself is very different from the older ones.
