To me, Cloudpunk in a nutshell, is a great display of how you mix "bladerunner"- style cyberpunk aethetic with an everyday-life plot of a delivery driver in a voxelized world, whereas the former beats out the letter by far.
Would like autopilot in something like Black Flag though! Something about walking around and even inside the ship while it's sailing appeals to me.
no, it wouldnt. it would be just an added feature. I liked the atmosphere and the architecture of nivalis but hated driving. You could turn it off anytime you want.
So you want a "feature" that makes the game play itself. At what point do you just turn the game off and go watch a movie instead?
Well, he just asks it as a toggle option feature. It's not hard. RDR2 has it. But to go with this, I would very much like to be able to add waypoints. It is a lot easier I I want to do a side quest and just select the location I want to go. And together with this, layers of the map. So you don't have to open the map every time you travel to new location. So, yeah. Autopilot toggle will work great with these additions.
chill out dude, to each their own. a toggle like that wouldnt make it worse and just like the other guy said, rdr2 has that too. Just think bout it for a sec: a game which only conists of plots and subplots made entirely of vo-dialogue, doesnt really need flight simulation as its core gameplay. why dont you ask ppl that play visual novels about not just buying a book.
There would be obviously much better ways get a bit of gameplay into this game, but I mentioned timed quests because that's something that's easy to implement and doesn't need substantial reworking of the game's systems.
While I respect your opinion, I hate timed activities from the bottom of my heart. Every game that had it, I hated it. This is a relaxing adventure game. I wouldn't even wished it had a time event. Not even close. Actually, there was one, where you need to get to a certain point because of some scanning situation, I hate it and of course I failed it. And there's also an achievement for it.
But, having an option to make your delivery timed, maybe would make everyone happy.
