With the right key assignment and internal perspective, you can create a small simulation.
I will assume that it was "is" and not "isn't", by the tone of the rest of your post. ^^! Thank you for informing me. And the A.I. always lands your vehicle or you have the choice to do it manually? Any Fifth Element vibes, in scope of other drivers anyway and different traffic flows at different elevations?

You can freely fly around the city and everything, no restrictions, feels just like Fifth Element. (Noticed you linked the police chase scene, Fifth Element. It's on the top 3 of my favorite cyberpunk/sci fi movies right next to Total Recall and both Blade Runner's.)
Thanks for the heads up! The game sounds better and better. However I have a confession to make... I have never seen Blade Runner... old or new... However Total Recall, at least the original is an excellent movie, still one of my top favorites for sci-fi, although I am still confused on what was going on with Quadd. Was he originally a bad guy and then turned good (depending on their view point) and refused to turn back to being bad or it was all a lie anyway?
However since you did see Blade Runner, have you ever tried Point and Click Adventure game for it?
I highly recommend Blade Runner!! Both the original and the sequel are absolute gems and beautifully made. I haven't tried the point and click game but I own it, just have to get to it, it's on my backlog lol. Yeah Quaid in Total Recall is originally evil and the right hand man of the antagonist, until he gets his memory wiped as part of their evil plan. And then under his new identity and new memory, Quaid visits Rekall, a company that implants false memories of vacations, and chooses a "trip" to Mars as a secret agent. However, the procedure goes wrong because Quaid has suppressed memories of actually being a secret agent on Mars. So basically, he remembered that he's evil, while still in the personality of the new identity. So yeah, he was originally bad, then became good thanks to the memory wipe, and then he remembered that he is evil, and refused to turn evil again.
I highly highly recommend Blade Runner and Blade Runner 2049 though, you'd love them probably. I have this video of the point and click game ready to watch just to excite myself to get to it and play it when the time comes haha

Also I really recommend Cloudpunk as well, absolutely loving it
Hmmm... I will have to watch Total Recall again when I get the chance, the original at least anyway. I mostly watched it when I was younger, so maybe that is why I never understood that part. The movie always confused me. ^^!
Well let me know how the Blade Runner game goes for you as well. I want to play it myself, but without watching the movie first, it will probably have a lot of spoilers.
I just went through my game's list to see other cyberpunk/futuristic games. I found several and were going to post them all here for you, some even free, but then I remembered where I was at. I wont post other games here out of respect for the game dev, but message me if you want to see some others. I am actually going to have to find some spare time myself to play some of these. ^^!
Definitely some 5th Element vibes (though no shooty action/car chases).
As for Blade Runner. Definitely check it out. The original is an absolute classic (easily in my top 10 movies of all time) but may be a bit slow paced for today's sensibilities.
I'm not too fond of the sequel. It just doesn't have that same world-building quality but feels more like a series of unrelated set pieces and 'oh golly gee' CGI shots (and some terrible casting/acting IMO).

If you're just looking for some fluff piece of hollywood CGI it's allright, I guess.
Now, the original Ghost in the Shell anime..that's a masterpiece (and still holds up extremely well today)
During my military years I collected quite a few VHS movies of Ninja Scroll, Wings of Honneamise, Perfect Blue and more.
And then years later Cowboy Bebop, Witch Hunter Robin, Big O and a few others on Adult Swim. When I briefly had G4 Tech TV I saw a few episodes of animes as well.
Now I hardly watch any. Not sure if I aged out of it. The content is too out of this world for me. Or too much out there for me to catch up and thoroughly enjoy. No idea. Went to Japan a few years back, back when they had the original fish market and they still used anime references in certain places like train stations and such. I guess to keep the attention of children. And they had cosplay in Akihabara. I think I missed a lot of the essence of the trip. Had I went when I was younger I may of felt more while there, anime wise. Still want to go back though.
but here one say it has open world u can free fly anywhere without restrictions
can anyone be more specific what is real?
