Wonderful game, but...
What a lovely little gem this was, I went out of my usual types (flight sims) to try something different and fell in love! Nice story, great sense of humour, good music. Love it!

The only thing that really bugged the hell out of me is the controllers. I tried mouse and I tried joystick (with some tweaking), settled for the latter. But this game seriously needs some analogue support to make it truly enjoyable. Not being able to control the speed and super jerky steering is almost game-breaking if it wasn't so charming!

In any case, wonderful! I will leave a good review and be sure to support future development, especially if this is addressed.

Agreed, I play this with controller and even though Ive learned to deal with it, the jerkyness of the analog steering is very irritating. Wish it controlled like other driving games with my xb1 controller

just a headsup, with very gentle touches it is much easier to control the game inside the cockpit view

I do wish they would allow an option to turn off the wiper sounds though. it comes off like a "heartbeat" sound and I would rather have it off completely

Thanks for the tip, but that's rather difficult with a joystick...

In any case, I just finished the game. I hope they work on this because I quite fancy getting the DLC, but I'm not sure I want to put up with another 16 hours of this controller mess...:steammocking:

Making co-ordinated "rudder turns" using side thrust as you turn helps make your turns with a controller smoother, but at the cost of requiring octopus hands.

I find a controller works best. I'm using a Razor Wolverine Ultimate which includes controls to adjust sensitivity. It helped to significantly reduce the over-reactive steering. But it still requires a very light touch on the joystick. Cockpit view driving seems smoother though the field of view is restricted making it difficult to judge spatial relationships.
