[City of Ghosts] Find Huxley's induction chip. How to progress?

Stuck on this quest. Landed at every area in Ventz but found nothing. Does anybody know what to do?

It won't show on the map but if you go back to the closest spot to the entrance you'll get out on foot and find it by a wall.

I'm unsure how we're supposed to find it. I just got to this point, and there's nothing to hint at where to look.

Poor design, game breaking really. Hate it when devs pull this kind of nonsense. Games are comfort, and after fifteen hours of consistent pathmarking suddenly to have nothing isn't bold design, it's dumb.

Inconsistent, more likely. A sudden change in waypoint system can be confusing, I agree.

Game breaking?
No, definitely not. It's not like the chip is missing or unreachable. Just a little tougher to locate. I was one of the lucky ones to find it without much hassle.

I believe it was close to where the OP found it, maybe the exact same spot, I am not 100% sure. All I remember is that I followed the waypoint, parked the hova. While Morpho and Hayse were yammering on I started walking around a bit, scavenging and waiting for another waypoint to pop up. That never happened although I stumbled across the chip lying on the ground next to a wall. I think it was on the right hand side from where I parked.

Hmm, just found it and think it was in a different spot. Might be randomized. It was in the parking area with the large wrecked whitish vehicle. Still think this kind of sudden change is a bit of a betrayal, but it's their game. Thanks for trying to calm things down.

I found it at the location cited in the screenshot of Sancho Paca on 5/26/2021, but this is my first time finding it, so I don't know if a randomized coincidence or what

ive spent over an hour ever single platform in the ventz every single corner on foot, morpho not saying a word, no waypoint nothing.. ive even looked around "the trap" ended up quitting the game after an hour going in circles

Yeah, I am also trying to find it. Not to mention a huge mistake by the devs when they recorded Huxley’s voice saying that it is in the Hollows and that is where he exploded too, yet he was in the Vents. And then repeating that the induction chip is lost within the Hollows, again, it’s the freaking Vents. Hollows is in the left side of Waterside going through the Null Gate where we first discovered CORA. ION get your s**t together pls!

I found it on right side from parking lot, just go to the end of street to the right and nearby car and wall I found it. Walk only from waypoint.
