Is the game only about driving?
I kinda like how it looks but seems to me like it's just driving around, nothing much of a game, kinda repetitive?

deliver stuff, follow the story, but primarily soak up the amazing atmosphere and role play a bit and anticipate playing nivalis :)

Does it get boring? Are deliveries different or is it just always the same?

It all depends on wether or not you can get invested in a story focused game. If not, then it might become a bit dull. But there is a few situations where theres other objectives, but not often. Haven't played enough of the DLC to comment on that. But, i've heard there's some more variation there.

Every delivery is different and each one is relevant to the story or worldbuilding.

It's not "delivery simulator with a story", it's "story where each delivery is a turn of the page"

Thanks for answers, I got ultimate edition so hopefully this game doesn't disappoint.

If you are interested in a similar world-concept to Cloudpunk's but with a bit more "action," check out 2000's "Crime Cities," which is available for sale on steam. I was kind of hoping Cloudpunk would have shooting mechanics like that game, but as it is the driving, world, and story are fun in their own rights.

No. Its about Walking too.

Driving. Walking. Immersing yourself in the world. Following the story. Making choices. Exploring. Racing (DLC). Relaxing.

It's an experience.

I'd like to try the driving part, but I have no luck with getting the controllers to work.

Thanks, I did. But the setup treats joystick and wheel as if each axis is a button (it is just off/on like on keyboard). So if I map it, there is no sensitivity and also if I map for example Axis Y to Left, it only triggers movement Left and never Right. If I map it also to Right, it gets reassigned and no longer works for Left. Steam sees all my controllers, spelling their names correctly, but when mapping, I see a picture of a console style controller which is just a "ergonomic" gaming keyboard. I don't see how to switch to normal steering wheel / joystick operation.

did you literally recommend a game from the year 2000
Bought it today. It is a driving "walking" simulator. Not a big fan of the I think it's called Roblox or Minecraft style but this game is really well put together. Bought it first because the devs are a local company but the dialogues are so well written and the story so far is pretty damn good. They even have fake RTX effects and the city looks awesome. So far, it is story driven and pretty chill to play. I like it.
