Xbox One X - Cloudpunk

Dear Dev's, I own and LOVE Cloudpunk on Steam, it's a FANTASTIC game. So, I also bought the game for my Xbox One X and was surprisingly dissapointed. It looks MUCH worse... shockingly so... draw distance, frame-rate, resolution and has stutter... One X has a powerful console... do you plan to fix these issues?

Hi. We didn't publish, port or test Cloudpunk on consoles, it is done by Merge Games. They are currently working on a performance and bug-fixing patch. We would encourage you to contact them and let them know of particular issues that are effecting your experience with the game.

Thanks for that i was about to ask the same thing :). It does say series X and S as well so i assume it will be updated by them for the new consoles at some stage anyway. I am going to go out on a limb and say i don't think the current consoles have a good enough cpu to do the game justice. It's still fun on Xbox One X anyway as the game is fun.

I frankly find these replies (regard the ports) strangely unprofessional. Nobody cares which third party ported your game, it should have been up to Ion Lands to make sure the final product is sufficient, no matter on which platform, because right now it looks like you don't care at all?

We're very sad to hear anyone is disappointed with the game. Perhaps there is a misunderstanding though. Merge didn't just port the game, they published it, meaning they handle promotion, PR, QA and more for the console release. This is the Steam forum for Ion Lands Cloudpunk on PC. We're happy to hear about players experiences, but if you want fixes to be made in patches and updates on console, they are the only ones who can make that happen. Feel free to share your feelings here, but make sure you also contact Merge Games as they can actually do something about the problems.
