It takes a while for Rania's story to progress, and in that meantime we gamers are left to wonder at what we are supposed to do in Cloudpunk and what role we need to play. By the time we have to make key decisions, we don't have a lot of information on Rania herself although we do accumulate various public opinions. Even so, a few of our larger decisions don't seem to add much to Rania's dimension. There were a couple of times where I believe I misunderstood the instructions and picked the opposite choice that I would have made if I was in Rania's place. I don't think those decisions had much effect. Same too goes for the timed missions. Complete them or fail them, Nivalis goes on. Timed missions are important only to the achievement hunters.
As I see it, if you find Rania annoying look at it this way: at least she isn't a drummer.
I liked Rania. I hated Camus though, ugh that stupid ass dog photo and the terrible voice acting was so annoying. Wish Camus was less of a dumb chump.
* (On the other hand some weird voice lines suggest that she knows what people in the city call certain stuff - like the ascnescion elevator. Which seems odd given that she's just arrived.)
Ah I really like her voice!
I super agree with this.
Seems like the voice actor was trying for Dug from "Up"[pixar.fandom.com] but it just doesn't work.
