[REQ] Invert Mouse X-Axis
Please could you consider adding an option to toggle the inversion of the mouse x-axis? Having it inverted by default is really screwing with me, and just consistently takes me out of the game. I'm having to fight my instincts every time I want to move the camera!
Cheers.

Sure, and we have that for vertical movement.

Invert-X, along with some other options is on our list to add next.

For the mouse and controller stick or also for the movement keys on keyboard?

Just the mouse (haven't tried with a controller, but I imagine that'd be the same too) for when the view is unbound by pressing X.

I also found something that I had thought was a bug, but your question there actually shows me the logic behind it. When I selected to invert the y-axis, I was expecting that it would only affect the mouse controls, not the keyboard as well (since you can freely rebind controls anyway, it's not strictly necessary for keyboard controls to be inverted too). I guess it just means that I have to swap the ascend/descend keys, which isn't a hassle, but I suspect that it may catch a few others out too.

Cheers!

same issue here, first thing I immediately noticed starting the game and I just cant play like this.

Vertical movement (y-axis) inversion is already an option. This was about horizontal movement (x-axis), since it is by default inverted with no option to toggle it back.

+1 for horizontal invert option.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

excellent - that's a +1 from me too - for the mouse-driven view that is

In the patch notes from the 30th april update this option is already added, but i cannot find it in the game

Likewise, actually. I even tried redownloading the game entirely. Still not in the options anywhere as far as I can see.

Same here. Can't find an option to revert the mouse x-axis. Did anybody successfully switch the axis? It's really hard to play like that.

I've also wondered about where that option is. But - did they actually invert the camera X-axis (as default), or is it just that I adjusted to it? lol

EDIT:
Seems I adjusted (somewhat) to it. Playing other games and it's back to normal, and I'm glad they included the invert mouse X / Y. Found them now. Thanks devs!
(I miss is being able to move the vehicle camera while driving but no biggie I guess).
