The game is grindy as hell (really, it's too much), lacks any meaningful interaction with the enviroment and lacks any verticality in the open world and homes.
The survival aspect of eating and drinking is totally useless and a nuance to be dealt with, which is a shame because it has so much potential if mixed correclty with the community market and stuff like that..
The literal only task to be done in this game is just to endlessly and mindlessly shoot tons of zombies with a very clunky aiming and movement system, and this update just makes so you now can do that for more time without feeling like you are progressing towards nothing.
The missions are the same 4 or 5 tasks over and over again, there is a moment where you don't even bother looking at anything besides what you have to do and where.
Story lacks originality and essence.
No steam achievements.
Horrible, I repeat, horrible optimization.
The incredible skill unbalance and how ~30% of skills are useless (hunger and thirst skills, melle combat skills, sprinting skills...)
List keeps going and going.
Really, just polish the already in game mechanics before adding more. You were going pretty good with the update that redesinged the inventory and reworked it, but now just more clutter to have a excuse to further grind in this shallow game that lacks any real depth.
