Second, the "Doomsayer" story line mission. To start this you will have to find a "hidden note". No promises, as it has been some time, but I believe that is the name. It will say something to the effect of "A well hidden note obviously left for someone." Or something like that. It will go on to describe an old guy talking about the end of times and how the author and their partner should rough him up. This will create and instanced version of the Drowned Mine in Duntsville. This mission will broaden your knowledge of the back story relating to the outbreak, Palehaven and those responsible. A decent mid-level shotgun and a couple of upgrade items along with the crafting recipe for Seeker's Pouches IIRC.
Third would be out of the Greywood Hotel and you are looking for Sackhead and the Wandering Survivors. You will have to "hail" all the Wandering Survivors a couple dozen times or so in order to get Sackhead to even recognize you. There are plenty of write ups regarding this mission line. This is a rinse & repeat type of mission once you get going and find the fifth member of their group. A suggestion, do not turn in the coins Sackhead asks for. Set them aside. Once you give them to him, the missions to get them goes away. Unless you have no need for XP, hold off on that final turn in as the sub-missions are a great way to earn a fair amount of extra XP daily.
Once you are done with those three... Start learning to farm PCA, Palehaven City Archives, safely and with some "find book" bonus. There are two specifically you are looking for. An "Invitation to Kate's Eatery" and "Gun Enthusiasts Diary Page". These will trigger two story line missions that many of us are still working on, and a discussion for another day.
Lastly there are two "weapon" story line missions. One is a firearm and the other a melee weapon. They are started by finding items in the two end game raid instances. Comer and Sons Inc. and the Ravenwall Heights Community Hospital. Until you have a solid grasp of the game, don't even bother unless out of sheer curiosity. You will get smoked in short order.
There may be more, but I have not found them. The last four I mentioned are still in the works for me. They are that tedious! The first two are awesome! Great story lines that really help paint the back story. Hope this has helped.
Stay safe out there!
