For some reason the industry is absolutely not picking up on this niche genre of "Coop Survival Horror Looter Shooter" games - not even the Resident Evil franchise itself, which has been the biggest influence for DF2.
One could argue that "Warframe" comes close as a Coop Looter Shooter, but obviously it is missing the Horror Survival element.
I personally would say that "7 Days To Die" comes pretty close, as an Open World Zombie Survival Looting Crafting and Building game, but the Coop part falls a bit short there and it has not these infested urban vibes.
Warframe is for free and 7 Days is super cheap regarding the endless content updates that you get for 20 bucks.
