like what would they even do? it's not like loot spots are always in the same place so i don't really see what they would accomplish?
are you sure you're not just seeing players with a bit of desync? the servers aren't the greatest.
as i play with a friend fairly often i know for 100% fact that if say they walk around a couch and stop on the other side if the server is desynced a bit they will appear to just run in place against the couch. untill they move a bit more, or leave the area.
why would they run in mmo mode instead of solo mode if they're programmed to hit th center of door where people afk instead of the side of it that you can virtuall always click?
Since the dawn of online gaming there have allways been 'Cheating Gamers/Bots' farm gold and valuble items and sell them for real life cash.
At PVP Tournaments of many famous games big cash and big cheaters are involved.
There is also something called real life money laundry through games.
( I do not approve any of these )
and this game simply can't have a particularly profitable market for it, it's both fairly small, and the dev himself sells credits. meaning any botting needs to undercut that.
i'm not saying it's not possible, im just doubting it's prevalent.
i may very well be missing something, but it seems to me you've either got bots following motions to do run loot spots which would need redone every single day. or you've got such deep hooks into the game/server you can just let it go find the loot on its own (maybe even run PZs/bosses??) but if they were that good there's no way you can convince me they'd get stuck on doubledoors cause someone standing in the middle
Multiplayer desynch tends to have hiccups like this, especially when there are multiple players in the room.
bandits and roaming NPCs would be dope.
personally i'd pass on outpost guards though
Lets see what can be seen suspicious by fellow gamers.
Characters that keep running towards walls non stop, auto running for a very long period of time. Characters that continiously spam Commands at chat, hundreds of times, non stop for a very long time.
Multiboxer botters:
When you see a character saying 'Reloading' whenever it reload a gun or keeps saying other commands. Normal people dont do that continiously (Some players seem to use bots to collect items to gather for self automatically but also sell at marketplace. Not sure how far they went about programming Boss and Purple zone event bots ?)
Now more serious ones. Characters pass through obstacles and fire backwards, while facing towards wall. Characters getting no damage. Characters climbing on rocks and cars even street lights then levitate over the street. Characters spam npcs as droves while getting no damage from those npcs to earn non stop xp.
If you report these type of things and Admin believes it is not breaking any rule he will not ban them. If they do break the rules, they will get banned.
UNFAIR ADVANTAGES
You may not under any circumstances attempt to gain a unfair advantage in Dead Frontier 2 through any of the following methods: server hacking, botting, exploiting bugs, memory editing, reverse engineering game code or any other form of cheating. If you discover a serious bug, exploit or security hole that could be used to gain an unfair advantage you should report it via the support system immediately without commmunicating it to other players. In most cases we will grant a reward to any user that helps us to find and patch these bugs.
OUT OF GAME TRADING
You may not trade items, currency, characters or accounts in Dead Frontier 2 for anything outside of the game. This includes, but is not limited to: real world currency, DF1 items/currency, crypto currency, items or currency in other games, gold, silver, pirate treasure or your old comics. The only legitimate way to trade real world currency for Dead Frontier 2 items and currency is via the in-game shop.
