Unique chance pointless in this game??

So I've been playing about a month every day i paid for gold sub and running max Unique chance and high weapon find. since i want Unique weapons. i'm farming loot and key rooms in lvl 50 area everyday had 0 unique's drop all the way up to this point im writing this. is the only way to get high lvl Unique only in the gacha chests littered everywhere in the high lvl zones? if so i wont be subbing for next month gold sub and just farm broken keys instead. since it looks to be the only way to get unique's it seems since its easier to farm 1mil to open one.

I'm a bit of a collector hoarder and i don't care about not been able to sell any unique's from the chests so that dose not bother me. my point about this post is their seems to be no point in building unique find chance or paying sub for. XD the find chance system has no impact at all it seems even building for less food to drop still drops 90% food from all my pick ups same with broken and common item picks ups are super common to drop witch is ridiculous comical for a survivor horror game to find food and water and ammo everywhere. enough to run my own mega food and ammo store XD

i play like 200 h this month and i loot few unique, like maybe ten, the base drop are very low, if you want more drop chance going to "comer and son" boss room have +500% loot rate elite and unique on the 3 boss inside can help you too

Looting is a terrible way to find uniques. Out of my 1400+ hours of playing this game, I've found 3-4 uniques from looting and they've all been trash.

If you really want uniques you have to commit to doing boss runs. When I do Ravenwall runs, I'll find 1-2 uniques a week on average. Then again if you really want uniques right away you gamble on the unique chests.

Boss runs are the only reliable way to get uniques.
Unique drops rates outside of boss runs are extremely low and not worth doing.

That is for unique but on bosses rare+ is guaranteed

Drop rates don't work as you might be thinking.

Fro example say your chance to find a UNIQUE is .01% and you have a +100% find chance for UNIQUE, you are still at just 1% find chance.

These numbers aren't specific though but hopefully that helps.

I found 2 uniques today and I didn't even loot that much, so I wouldn't say it's pointless. But keep in mind there's a Christmas Event boost right now which increases the chances of finding unique items.
