Dead Frontier 2

Seriously? (Log-in Account Issue)
I played Dead Frontier 2 some time last month, so I told a buddy of mine about it last night, and we tried to play together. I attempted to log in to my account after a few times, but I forgot my password. Fast-forward a few steps, I had a confirmation code sent to my email for the game, to change my password. The game says to wait a few minutes, which I did, but no email. I waited a bit longer, even checking my 'spam' and 'trash' folders, but no dice. So, I decided to use another email to create an account, but it didn't go through. The game says I tried to log in too many times, and that I have to wait 'several minutes'.

That wasn't an issue with me at first, until, I got an email from my second email about confirming my email for the game, so apparently, my second account was created. I confirmed it, but I couldn't log in with the second account either because I tried too many times to log in with the first. That's when I got a bit aggravated. We decided to play something else in the end. I take full responsibility at the fact that I tried too many times to log in, but when it comes a point where certain game features don't even work properly, or become tedious to try and use, that's where I draw the line.

I'm not sure why the 'Dev' has a secondary log in mechanic for the game, but I think it's kind of dumb. Even my buddy pointed it out as I was trying to get things together on my end. If there is a way for the 'Dev' to have log in using Steam only, I think that would make things so much better for the overall experience. Also, I tried having another password reset email sent to me again earlier today, but it still hasn't come in. Good game, but if I can't even play it, then that's an issue.

That system exists for a reason and it will never be changed/adjusted to individuals, no matter how hard somebody rants or pushes about it. Too many 3rd party invididuals tried abusing alts to their own benefit.

You can check if your email is correct with me on discord however, just fill a ticket in #global-support. Quite often users forget their emails or their accounts got hacked thus no confirmation emails appear.

See, I kinda expected that to be a response. My info is correct on my end, plain and simple. I even sent you guys a response on your website's forum section less than an hour ago, so I'm pretty much waiting on my email for that. But, if there's not alternative way to fix this other than by creating a new account, then this is pointless. Take care.

Usually takes a lot of time for them to reply and unfortunately I can not see tickets on their website. So if you want me to try and help you should still make a ticket on discord.
I do not handle confirmation emails but at least we can get a confirmation on what's wrong.

What is your name on their Discord page? I'm not sure who to add in my private thread.

That is "Anklast". I believe he's the only df2 global moderator

Completely agree that the log-in thing is pretty bogus, but it is what it is. In the beginning it was definitely necessary to sort out the df1 rewards (they gave out a lot of perks to players who bought things in the first game close to the release of this one). Unfortunately most people don't take their account security seriously, so those that do have to suffer with this crap
